BOOSTER CLUB MEMBERSHIP
The GU Shamrock Cheerleading Booster Club (GUSBC) exists to provide encouragement and financial support for Shamrock cheerleaders in any way that enhances the overall program! Parents or legal guardians of a Shamrock cheerleader automatically become members. Booster club fees are collected monthly, and cover all necessary Shamrock cheerleading expenses. The fee schedule is published at try-outs (and is on the “Forms” page). Fundraising opportunities are offered to help families offset booster club fees.
GUSBC officer positions are elected at the start of the season and manage the “business” side of competitive cheerleading. This allows our coaching staff to stay focused on training and motivating the athletes, while the Booster Club can attend to team apparel orders, competition registration and waivers, newsletter and calendar publications, sponsorship commitments, treat bags and incentives, and so much more!
